Amey Strengthens Growth Strategy with Senior Advisory Appointment

The infrastructure services specialist has appointed experienced industry leader Jonathan Goring to help drive strategic expansion across its consulting business as it targets new markets and major opportunities.

Amey has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Jonathan Goring as Executive Advisor, a move designed to accelerate the company's long-term growth strategy and strengthen its position across key infrastructure sectors.

The newly created advisory role will see Goring work closely with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities, expand Amey's consulting portfolio and support entry into emerging markets, while reinforcing relationships with clients, delivery partners and suppliers.

His appointment comes as Amey continues to invest in its consulting capabilities, following a series of senior leadership hires aimed at supporting the next stage of the business's expansion.

Bringing decades of experience across infrastructure, engineering, government programmes and major capital delivery, Goring has held senior executive and board-level positions throughout the UK and overseas. His career has included leadership roles with Capita, Morgan Sindall, PA Consulting, Mott MacDonald and Systra, alongside involvement in nationally and internationally significant programmes including HS2 and Saudi Arabia's NEOM development.

Within his new position, Goring will focus on developing the early stages of Amey's consulting pipeline, helping the business secure strategic opportunities across existing frameworks while identifying avenues for growth in new sectors and international markets. He will also work across the organisation to improve collaboration between business units and strengthen the company's strategic business development approach.
