M Group secures place on London Gatwick infrastructure frameworks

M Group has been appointed to two major infrastructure frameworks at London Gatwick Airport, strengthening a relationship that spans more than 40 years and positioning the business to help deliver a programme of airport improvements over the next five years.

The company has secured places on both the airport's Buildings Framework and Civils Framework, which will support the delivery of a broad range of construction, maintenance and infrastructure projects across the airport estate.

The frameworks have been established to provide London Gatwick with access to specialist contractors capable of delivering projects that improve operational efficiency, sustainability and the passenger experience.

Over the next five years, M Group will undertake a variety of building and civil engineering schemes, including infrastructure upgrades, asset replacement programmes and improvements to airport facilities.

Potential projects include refurbishing passenger piers, enhancing terminal buildings, expanding electric vehicle charging infrastructure and upgrading self-service check-in facilities as Gatwick continues to modernise its operations.

The appointment further strengthens M Group's presence in the aviation sector, where it has supported London Gatwick's infrastructure for more than four decades.
